Planning for the Mini-School reunion, led by Patty Politte (class of ’73) continues in unerring, precise, flawless fashion. The date has been set—-Saturday, March 20th. The place has been selected and reserved–Hopkins Legion Club. The doors will open at 7 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Andy Fuss (class of ’71) and his Mini-School Renegades (6:30-12:30). Admission is $1.50 per person, and after the bills are paid, proceeds will go to the Mini-School program. All former Mini-School students, their spouses, fiancés, boy and girl friends are invited.
A few necessary words. This is a REUNION (definition–American College Dictionary… “a gathering of relatives, friends, or associates after separation.“) As a reunion, it is intended for former Mini-School students. There will be a bar and bartender provided by the Hopkins Legion Club. This bartender will check identification. If you wish to pay $1.50 at the door and take the chance that you may be turned out by the bartender, go ahead. If you are not of age, do not expect a staff member to lie for you. If you are of age, you are welcome.
The night should be fun, fascinating, frightening, fantastic. An attempt will be made to find every student teacher who has worked in the program, and an invitation definitely will be sent to every teacher who has ever worked in Mini-School. Without doubt, the Mini-School Reunion will rank as The social event of the season.
