At the beginning of our 2nd quarter, I was enrolled in Mini-School through my involvement in SWAS (School-Within-a-School). My main goal was to see what it was all about.
Now as we come closer to the end of 2nd quarter, I feel a part of Mini-School in my system. Not only are the teachers friendly and helpful to the students, but the students themselves are eager to lend a hand and seem to take pride in their projects.
I think for too long the Mini-School program has been misconceived for many people. I know for myself this is true, so I got involved to find out really what Mini-School was, and now as I’m involved I don’t want to leave. I’ve made some great friends and met lots of interesting people who have shared experiences that they’ve had on trips, with court, with family life and with school. All these people are great, and I just want to give them my thanks. So thanks everybody in Mini-School— ya got a good thing going— don’t let it slip away.
