The recent Com-Mini-Cations was really interesting! But I didn’t get page #9. Sounds like I missed parts of 2 interesting articles.
As far as “question to ponder:” heads of families don’t necessarily boot family members into the street for non-conforming behavior (missing 7 classes in one class) but some type of discipline is necessary. A family group supports and cares for each other. Part of caring is “tough love.” If any family member does not carry his share of support his behavior is detrimental to the whole family. If his behavior is ignored and not dealt with, the family is enabling him to be less than a full member. So some form of discipline must be brought to bear upon the erring member. Maybe the non-conforming member only wants to be reassured that the family cares about him.
