Dearest Mini-School,
I’ve decided to send a little contribution of my own to be put in Com-Mini-Cations. I haven’t been doing much writing of my own, but this is a little thing I read every morn:
Look to this day
For it is life,
The very life of life.
In its brief course lies all
The realities and varieties of existence,
The bliss of growth,
The splendor of action,
The glory of power–
For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision,
But today, well lived,
Makes every yesterday a dream
of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day.
–Sanskrit Proverb
I’m doin’ okay. I’m getting more used to my apartment and living alone. School’s goin’ pretty good, my zero hour teacher is about to murder me; my law teacher too, I always have a hard time getting up in the morn. I must go, I have women’s group at Shanti House tonight.
Much love to all,
Melissa Quigley
