Well, where do I start? From the top! It was back in eighth grade when I learned what Mini-School was. I had been having a hard time in school since sixth grade. I felt like I didn’t belong. Mainstream was not my style and I was always different in some way. Then my ray of hope came and hit me right between the eyes. “MINI-SCHOOL, WOW!” This was my reaction the first time Al (my older brother), also a Mini kid brought me to see Mini. That was the moment where I knew where I belonged. Back then I was so full of energy, but lacked a direction in which to focus on. Then about the end of my freshman year… I got in! It was one of the happiest days of my life. I got to know Doug, Randy, Joanne, Ramona and Pauline very well. Doug is like a dad to me. We have been on several trips together. And Randy is like my conscience, you know, like Jiminy Cricket. Whenever I start thinking of doing something mischievous, I hear Randy in my head. Joanne is like a mom to me. She is one of the nicest people I’ve ever known. As for Ramona and Pauline, what can I say, I’ve given you hell for the last three years, but you kept coming back. I like that in a person! Sorry for all the things I got in trouble for and some of the things that you don’t know about (Ha, Ha!). I guess I just wanted to write this so that you all know how I feel. You have all been a big part of my life and I will never forget you! Well, I could sit here and babble on for days but that would waste a lot of time and paper so, I’m off!
Good luck and God bless,
Love Always,
Casey
