On Sunday, September 15, 1996 at 7:30 p.m. a concert by one of the greatest bands, in my opinion, started.
The concert was at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium and we got there at about 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. We came in and saw this tableful of this group called R.A.I.D. (which stands for Revolution Against Indecent Democracy.) They talk about how the government is run wrong. We got some fliers and it was all good. We went out on the balcony and sat there for a while and all of a sudden I saw a friend on the floor. He had stubs for the floor so we could get on. Once on the floor we saw a lot of crap. People were jumping off the balcony, crowd surfing, moshing, doing drugs, fighting and a lot more. Anyway when Rage came on I started moshing hard core. It felt so good to get the big alternative rush from moshing. It kind of sucked cause all my friends just stood there bobbing their heads to the beat. I can’t stand that so I left them and went moshing.
Overall it was a fun concert, I sure enjoyed it, and I recommend going to a Rage concert soon.
