On the opening night of the New Hamlet, three friends attended the showing at the Uptown Theater. If you’re a Shakespeare buff like me you’d be happy with how the movie turned out, besides two parts. In the play, Hamlet tells the king that Polonious’ body is upstairs after he tells the king his body is buried. In the movie, the king finds his body upstairs and Ophelia sees it, which doesn’t happen in the play. If you’ve never read the play you’ll still enjoy the movie, if you understand how they speaketh.
