Tom Riordon {81}- Recently called from his home in California and is doing great. Has a super family and is really proud of his kids. Tom was in town to attend the wedding of Jeff Thompson, brother of former Mini-Schooler, Dave.
Melissa Quigley {76}- More about her in this issue, but she was in town recently for a wedding. Her massage business in Salt Lake City is doing great.
Brandon Petron {95}- Doing well in his classes at Music Tech and he is teaching guitar to help cover tuition. He has been placed in their advanced study courses and earning A’s and B’s.
Natasha Copeland {94?}- Finishing at MCC and headed for Augsburg or the U. of M. She is also working two jobs, as a nanny and at Sidney’s. Good luck!
Jay Cherland {82}- According to the Navy, Jay {an eight year Navy veteran} is an excellent mechanic aboard the nuclear-powered submarine USS Cavalla, based out of Pearl Harbor. His deployments keep him away from his wife and child for months, he is a petty officer 2nd class. It was good to hear about him.
The Mini School staff was saddened by the news of the death of Barb Span Reese {83} in a car accident May 29th. Barb and her husband, Rich {83}, always found time to attend reunions, drop us a Christmas card, and stop by from time to time. We’ll miss you Barb, and our thoughts and sympathies are with Rich and your son and daughter.
