As we are growing up I have found that the ones we rely on the most is our parents. Or in this case, our grandparents. The featured Grandparent of the month is Pat Cruikshank, loving caretaker of Tony {Hondo} Cruikshank.
Leah- Where did you go to high school?
Pat- Deephaven High School, K-12.
Leah- Was there a program like Mini-School ever available then?
Pat- No, not then. I wish there was though. There were good teachers, but for help we usually went to older siblings or other students.
Leah- What is your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid?
Pat- Well, grape is pretty good.
Leah- What do you think are the benefits of the trip program?
Pat- It’s a good program- Mini-School trips. It helps to make a person whole, to be strong within themselves. It puts people in a position to learn how to get along with each other. It gives kids an opportunity to be outside with nature, and to be closer to God.
